Wood suppliers are expected to conduct harvesting operations in compliance with any applicable provincial or federal legislation. There is legislation that applies to both crown forest land and private land that is managed for forestry. We encourage wood suppliers to consider the following suggested practice elements of sustainable forestry on land to be managed by the supplier.
